She finally let me take pictures!

These my friends are pictures of my wife's most beautiful 20w1d belly.

Pregnant bellies are the coolest, most beautiful things ever!

In other news:

  • I finally found bright and happy crib sheets! Why are they so hard to find?  Do all crib sheets really have to be in pastel?  I ordered cornflower blue and true blue crib sheets (the only colors available) and a true red crib skirt.  If anyone knows of places other than The C.ompany Store Kids to find bright baby stuff like this- I'm all eyes!
  • We had a great time going to an Andy Warhol opening on Saturday night with Janet's fabulous parents.  I'm not a huge Warhol fan, but perhaps have softened my stance thanks to seeing his abstract pieces versus his silk screen and paint pieces.
  • Valentines day was great- we shared berry pancakes and then a potluck dinner with friends.  I very much appreciate being in a relationship without need for pomp and circumstance but instead its about little constant gestures.  One fun thing about this Valentine's day was daydreaming about helping Andrew write out his first V-day cards.

These sheet colors are EXACTLY what I've been looking for! Anything not pastel and without tiny, cutesy designs. So awesome. Thanks for the find.

That is a very cute bump she has going there! Janet should also be quite proud that she still looks small to those of us outside the loop. :)

Look at that gorgeous baby bump! My goodness but that is a beautiful sight. Love, love, LOVE the pictures!

Sheets are tough, you've definitely found the jackpot for primary colors though. Growing up Garnet Hill used to have brightly patterned sheets, but I'm not sure if that's still the case. Good luck in your search! When you mentioned the opening all I could think of was those brightly colored block prints where four are placed cube-style together. The one I'm thinking of is flowers in reds and blues and would amazing with those sheets!

p.s. i was just looking through some of your old posts to get caught up. i am from d-town also! we actually just moved away from there right before the baby was born. we also used dr wilson and LOVED her. sorry to see that you were not treated with respect by the other doctor. even though dallas has come a long way, it is still in texas.

Meredith, is everything still good? How is life going as the non-gestational mom? Just thinking about you and hoping that all is well.
